The making of Prius V campaign

3 months of preproduction. 6 days of photo shooting. 2 months for postproduction. This is the time needed to come to to bring about the biggest and most exciting campaign ever done by Serial Cut™, commissioned by Saatchi & Saatchi L.A. for Toyota USA. With more than 30 professionals involved, each object was shot separately to make 3 key visuals that indicate the features of the new Toyota Prius V: more versatility, efficiency and connectivity. More versatility

Inspired from fairytales, this key visual tells of the big space available inside the trunk, using myriad of colours and objects like topiaries, balloons, birthday party items, a range of suitcases and funny dogs and kids, in a light and clean white space. Prius V, with its 60/40 split sliding reclining fold-down rear seats,
gives you a variety of people and payload possibilities.

More efficiency

What could a dude do in his free time? With his Prius V and its exceptional fuel efficiency he can go digging more or visit a rock concert; but he also loves to see the final match of his favourite baseball team. He also can enjoy barbecue at the beach or go snowboarding, among other activities.

More connectivity

This new Prius V offers mobile apps like Bing™, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable® and Pandora® through the Entune™ system. These apps are connected and represented by a number of coloured objects in a dark space representing the possibilities of a vibrant night featured by a lady and her favourite rockstar.
