“ExtraBold.” is the compendium of all the imagery of Serial Cut™, the Spanish design studio established in 1999, which focuses on art direction for international projects.

The 320-pages book is printed on different kinds of papers, showcasing more than 150 projects from the early years till up to the present time.

It contains AUGMENTED REALITY technology, giving you access to extra VIRTUAL & MEDIA CONTENT through a FREE APP for iPhone and iPad.

The studio invited their 9 FAVOURITE INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS to make an original piece, making then they made a REMIX in their own style, an open interpretation of the Serial Cut™ world.

INTRO
The essence of Serial Cut™ is explained through in an introduction divided into 4 chapters: “Life & Culture”, “Process”, “Digital vs. Tactile” and “Typoholics”.

WORKS
Showcasing more than 150 projects from the early years up to the present time with some “making of” photos, this is the part that contains the augmented reality bit.

REMIX
The studio invited their 9 favourite international designers to make an original piece. They began by choosing an artwork from Serial Cut™ portfolio and then made a REMIX in their own style, an open interpretation of the Serial Cut™ world.

OUTRO
The last part of the book depicts the agencies, studios, clients, books, art exhibitions, talks and worldwide reps from Serial Cut™.
